I'm just sitting out here watching airplanes

take off, and fly away.

Just like my life, flying away.
It’s just slipping right through my fingers.
Time is ticking, also ticking faster then I'm set for.
It seems like it was just yesterday that me and Simi
were holding each other’s hands, and getting ready to conquer Kindergarten.

Senior year hit me harder than I thought it would.
1 more year, just one, till I'm off on my own.
I'm nervous for the future, but ohhhh so excited!

I received an application for Pacific University in Portland Oregon, which made me very excited.
Portland is calling my name, I'm sure of it.
Going somewhere far, beautiful, rainy, green, & where family is would be amazinggg.
Taking chances and risks, excites me.

I get asked a lot, I mean a lot...."Are you and Irving going to get married?!"
Slow down, Yo.
We don't even know that yet, we won't for a long while!
We are both very much in love and we will both most likely be going to Portland together after High School for College.
Yes, we would love to be together forever, and we are defiantly working on it.
But at the same time, were smart and we both know that we need an education before we get far too serious.

& then it makes you think,
"Wow, in about 5-6 years, I will probably be married!"
AH! (Not a bad "AH!", but a omg I can't believe it "AH!" :])
THEN, you think "Wow, in about 5-7 years, I will probably have children!"
(& then I can't help but think what my Mom would be like as a Grandmother. HAH. :D!
She will be an awesome Grammy though. :P!)
It seems like 5-7 years ago was yesterday!

Time is flying by fast, almost as fast as that plane, flying far away.

  1. The older you get the faster time goes. It's crazy. Chad and I were just talking this morning about Simi graduating! Wow. You guys grew up way to fast lol. You have a good head on your shoulders and you're going to go far in life. I'm proud of you.

  2. You are not allowed to be married. I am considering not allowing you to call me dad in public lol. I am gonna introduce you as my niece or something. And of course your coming to Portland. Home of liberals and the Ducks (well close by anyway).
