I'm back home from saving the world.
Turtles, that is.
I can not tell you how amazing of an experience it was.
I never knew how amazing Sea Turtles were until this experience.
They really do need help and it felt amazing to help them.
In case you haven't been reading my photography/mexico blog here is a bit of a run down.
I went out every morning at 2 a.m searching for turtle egg nests, gathering the eggs and transporting them into a safer place.
Later in the day we would clean the nests that were ready to hatch. Unfortunately not all of them lived, which is something I knew coming into the project.
Sunrise and Sunset we would release the turtles into the ocean.
