If you ask me what my favorite color is I will not reply with a simple...
Purple and Orange.
My favorite colors are
Lavender and Coral
I am very particular when it comes to colors.
I love color. I love different color schemes.
I also love pairing different colors together you would not think of.
I took a color theory class in Portland when I was attending The Art Institute.
I really rather enjoyed it. not to mention I did an excellent job in the class.
It opened up my eyes to the world of color even more.
Color Schemes and Values were my favorite subjects to explore.
I will not bore you with a whole lesson though.
Unless you really want one.
I've had a love with high value greens, and low value reds lately.
Recent color schemes I've fancied lately
Dark Gray complimented with bright colors.
Gold and seafoam green.
Deep red and aqua.
This color scheme may be a weekly winner though.

See, here's the thing.. I love color schemes (especially the one above!), but I'm TERRIBLE with colors, seriously. This is why I stick to my simple black & grey colors.. I'm terrible with matching colors. :\

ReplyDeleteSteven- There are very few colors that look bad together. It just really depends on the shade, tone, and value you use within the colors I think.
