Last night Ed challenged me to a game of Chess.I put my game face on and accepted this challenge.
It's been so long since I played Chess that I had to be reminded of what can move where. At the beginning of the same I felt I was going to dominate...then he took my queen. Gosh dang it, not my queen! However, I was not as upset when he took my queen as he did both my bishops. How rude. Checkmate...Ed won.

We then decided to pull out checkers. I thought hot Apple Cider and a little box of Goobers would do the trick. After we set up the Checker board...we knew we did something wrong, we put them on all of the squares (black and white), we looked at each other with a puzzled face "This is isn't right is it?" Did we seriously not know how to set up a checker board?! We had to look it up online... we had to place them on only the black or white squares. Who knew? After we set them up we started to move the pieces not only diagonal but also forward...I then knew something else was wrong, I had a feeling that going forward was not the way to play checkers. I actually had to pull out the instructions of how to play checkers.
We finally figured out how to set up a checker board and learn how to play.
Gold star for us.

Haha, aww.. I want to play games and drink cider. I never got into Chess, but I never was able to comprehend the game, go me. :p
