Prized Possessions

My rings

Every time I go into Forever 21 I'm always looking through the rings and always so tempted to buy one. But I never want them to distract from my special rings I always wear.
Each of my rings are unique with a meaning behind them.

No specific order of importance/favorite

My Class Ring.

Yes, everyone has a class ring. But I've been in love with mine since the day I received it.
I wanted it to be my school colors along with my birthstone. I also wanted it simple and elegant, something I could wear everyday that didn't look like a class ring.
When I was in middle school going on into high school, we didn't even know if I could graduate because of the low GPA I had, I never believed in myself. My junior year everything was different, my grades turned right around and my GPA was better then I ever thought it would be.
High school changed me into somebody I never knew I had inside of me.

My Great Grandmother's ring (Not pictured)
Although I do not wear this ring daily and stored in my lock box, it's still very special.
It's gold with a sapphire in the middle and two little diamonds on the side.(my birthstone)
It's stunning really.
I was received this on my 16th birthday from my Mom, who she got from my Grandma on her 16th birthday, who got it from her mom on her 16th birthday!
So in other words, when my daughter someday is 16, she will receive the ring from me.
I always wonder though, what will happen if I end up with only boys. I guess we'll see!

My Mexican Ring

My parents surprised me by taking me to our favorite jeweler in Mexico because it was time for me to leave.
It was something I could take back with me to remember all of the good things I did while in Mexico with volunteering, all I learned, and discovering myself.
It took me so long to decide, I was starting to feel a little sad because I didn't see one that just hit me, until I saw this certain ring.
It's made to be unique, no one else will have a ring like mine. I don't think I have a certain detail of this ring that I love because I love every little detail. The color, the style, the size, and the small details around the stone.
I think it's a reflection of who I am.

My Promise Ring

Keiran gave this to me while I was home for my summer break. We were at the Aladdin show and during intermission he pulled out the ring and put it on my finger.
It's the perfect example of our love.
I think it's made so uniquely and I love the meaning as to why he picked this ring. He's going to hold on to me forever, just like the silver is holding the pearl. We have become such a strong couple and will always hold on to our love. My ring shows our unique, strong, and beautiful relationship.
