The beginning.

So I guess you can say our love story began a year ago from today. 

So in a way this is the story of how we kind of met.

I was in Mexico.

He was in Utah.

.....Rewind.

We went to high school together but never really "met."

He graduated the year before I did. 

You know those people you always see and oddly know their name but never met them? I oddly knew his name but probably because you don't come across many Keiran's in your life. 

Never did I know walking down the halls of Snow Canyon High that we would be madly in love someday. 

 

Anywho.

While I was in Mexico I got a friend request on facebook from a handsome man whom I recognized from high school. 

I then randomly got a post on my wall saying 

"so... having creeped my way through the majority of your pictures i've come to the conclusion that you are incapable of taking a bad picture. bravo. ha" 

I honestly didn't know if he meant I look good in all of the photos or I take great photos, either way, I was flattered. 

I finally decided to message him saying how I recognized him in high school but I don't think we actually had met and so "Hi, I'm Mariah!" He then replied saying "nice to meet you. I'm Keiran!"

Throughout our conversation I found out that he also loves Portland and also got to see sea turtles hatch and go out to see in Mexico as well.  It was a short and sweet conversation. 

. Our second conversation we talked about our plans for Thanksgiving. He told me his favorite pie was Cherry as well, which I know now that Cherry however is not his favorite. I still love him though, even though he has a love for apple pie. We also established by this time that we would be going on a date when I got home. (Oh boy did that make me all happy and giddy!)

After our first conversation I just always wanted to message him and talk to him but didn't want to become an annoyance. But when we would message each other I would get just the biggest butterflies. I loved finding out all of the things we had in common and he always made me giggle. (Still does of course) 

Might I add that he has this certain photo of him that I would just always look at on facebook?

Creepy maybe...?

But when I first saw it, it just make my heart completely melt! His smile, man oh man, that smile! I feel in love with that smile so quickly.

I had such a wonderful feeling about him since day one.
