Accomplishments & New Goals

2012 was such a big year for me. 

So many wonderful things happened. 

I fell in love! We decided to go through with a long distance relationship & I'm so glad we did. We are such a strong couple through it all.  

I like that our one year is so close to New Years. It's like a new year together too!

I moved to a new place, Denver, Colorado. & started at The Art Institute of Colorado.
I really love my new school, the instructors are awesome. I can't believe what all I have learned in the 3 terms I've been there already. I made deans honor roll, honor roll, & then deans honor roll again. 

I started working with film and have found a love of photographing still lifes and experimenting with transfers & The Holga camera. 

I won a red ribbon at the Denver County Fair & got a photo up on the wall at school & 3 projects from my Alt Process & Materials class. (2 transfers & a van dyke print)

My Dad published his book, Plygs! Such a big accomplishment for him!

& my best friend had a baby boy! I was with her a lot at the end of her pregnancy and got to be in the delivery room. 

& I surprising lost 30 pounds this year!

I have big expectations for 2013. 

My goals (so far) of 2013

Win a blue ribbon at The Denver County Fair.
Be apart of a choir again. 

Travel somewhere new.

Get in shape with a pair of rollerblades.

Get some artwork hung up in a artsy coffeeshop. 

Get a job & save money. 

Blog as much as I use to. 

Sew sew sew!

Read more books. 

Start a series project with photo transfers. 

Do the portraits I've had on my mind for a long while.
